The 10 Miss Macau hopeful were learning about the skills of make up yesterday. Ella Koon was invited to pass on her skills as their make up consultant.#10 Lui Sin Gei was picked from the drop of a hat to be the model for demonstration. Ella was like a professional make up artist. Ella reckoned Lui Sin Gei has got the youth and appearance like Linda Chung. In fact it was her first time to help make up in a beauty pageant. She disclosed she was more nervous than her acting or singing. It was a good job that Lui Sin Gei has got a very good skin complexion which made it easier for Ella to apply make up on.
When Ella saw the contestants, she thought about the days when she was living in Macau. When she was in the kindergarten, her first best friend was a Portugese. As 龔碩良 will be organising the theme song for Miss Macau beauty pageant, Ella was very excited. She told 龔碩良 that they went to the same kindergarten, that makes him her "Kindergarten brotherhood" 幼稚師兄.
Among the 10 contestants, Ella found Lui Sin Gei and Anna Kwan most attractive. She reckoned beauty is from within the heart. If you are kind and be positive about it, that will bring up the beauty from within. Asked if she had ever entered in a beauty pageant, Ella laughed "my feet would go jelly when I thought about wearing the swimsuit. I am a coward. I don't like to compete with other people. I am over 25 anyway, too old. I might as well concentrate in my music career."
Lui Sin Gei was happy that she got picked to be the model. She herself had learned about make up too. She praises Ella for being a very good make up artist. She was particularly happy that Ella said she looked like Linda Chung. She would use Linda as her role model. Reporter asked her which part of her body need to improve. She thought about it for a while, than said "Let me look at the mirror first. It ought to be my eyebrows. I am not very good at making my eyebrows stand out."
