Fiona Sit Nervous About Forthcoming Musical

Fiona Sit Nervous About Forthcoming Musical
3 November 2008

Ella Koon (官恩娜), Fiona Sit (薛凱琪), Stephanie Cheng (鄭融) and Elanne Kong (江若琳) went back to school today as they attended a Metro Radio <卡拉O!FACE> promotion at a Ma On Shan school.

Ella has been busy recording for her new album lately and revealed that the slowing marketplace has not reduced her workload. She smiled that she has not noticed the falling salaries because she is quite low paid anyway.

Asked about the situation during the TVB Singers Celebrate The Anniversary <翡翠歌星賀台慶> where many of the younger singers were jostling for a space on camera during the Hacken Lee (李克勤) and Alan Tam (譚詠麟) performance, Ella pointed out that she stood behind Joey Yung (容祖兒) and Grasshopper (草蜢) and was not pushing to be seen. She said that she has learned a lot about graciousness from her seniors and will never be so rude.

Stephanie's progress this year has far outshone good friend Fiona, but she explained that Fiona has not been in Hong Kong for much of the year, so she has lost out on some exposure. Asked if she is confident of taking some awards this year as the year end presentations draw closer, Stephanie replied that she will be very happy if she does, but she does not compare herself against others.

Fiona has been busy rehearsing for her forthcoming musical drama performance and with a month to go, she is starting to suffer sleepless nights from nerves. She said that she is pleased that so many friends have bought tickets to support her despite the economic squeeze and she is very grateful to them. Asked if rumoured boyfriend Jaycee Chan (房祖名) will be going to watch her, she smiled that he has not bought his ticket yet, but she is sure he will do soon.

Fiona's stage musical collaboration with theatrical stars Joey Leung (梁祖堯) and Edmond Tong (湯駿業) Last Smile, First Tear will be performed at the HKAPA Theatre on 05-11 December.
