Two female students attempt suicide over not being able to attend TWINS's fan meeting

Two Twins fans, both 13 year old female middle-school students who went online at school and read unsatisfactory and doubtful news, were found out by their family members and prevented from participating in an idol meeting. This caused them to feel really unhappy, yesterday two people at Da lang wan, south Hong Kong Island to participated in a field trip. During the activity time, the two fans suddenly felt very down, and their mood was bad. They shouted loudly together in the seashore "We want to die." The teacher feared the worst and immediately called for help.

It was reported that the two female student's last names are Zhang Ji and Liao, they attend the Wanzai middle school form 3 student, they are very close friends, just like sisters. The news said that Zhang Ji and Liao likes Twins composed of (Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung), in the past they once participated in Twins' fan meeting, early the two fans want to go to a fan meeting, but didn't want to let their parents know. However, the guardians suspected that they were thinking about pursuing the stars so they forbid the daughters to participate in any activities, two female students therefore were depressed.

Yesterday, there was an annual school activity where students go to Da Lang Wan swimming beach with many teachers. About 1:00 pm, Zhang Ji and Liao arrived at the beach and started to talk about their possibility of going to Twin's fan meeting, after knowing their possibility is very low, their mood was very down. With sudden emotions they shouted together: “We want to die! ”

The teacher heard what they had said and ran towards them. They were already in the water, and after help from many people, life guards, the female student's guardians, rescue patrol appearance, Zhang Ji and Liao were sent to the hospital for an examination.

Charlene Choi encourage the fans to live

A Twins members, Charlene Choi yesterday heard about the two fans attempting sucide. Through telephone she encouraged the two students to live on, she said everyone will experience unhappy situations, when these situations happen parties involved should come together and discuss issues out [parents and children], regardless of the result they should not be looking at the negative side, thinking about the negative side would only make oneself's mood very low, not only that but the other party [parents] really love you guys [students] it really hurts the parents when your guys hurt yourself.

Regarding this, Service Inspector General Situ Han Ming believes many young people now are pursuing their idols at present in an imporper way. He encourages students to complete their studies and not get distracted by their idols. He said the parents in this case did understand their children, and wanted to help their children deal with the situation now and face the future.
